The Foamtech's technology was developed in Brazil as just an scientific idea of its director, Gerd Slotly, in 1982.
After intensive  research, advanced studies and tests in the market,  it became evidenced that there was an important segment of the  industry  with the need for a differentiated product in the   footwear's market.

In addition to a good product, it was also necessary to add values such as: quality, comfort,  prices competitiveness  and above all,  credibility to enter into partnerships. 

With an entrepreneur  profile and  committed to face new challenges, Gerd Slotty and his family incepted the Foamtech in 2001. Thus, adding efforts, objectiveness and sharing responsibilities, the original conception of the Sole and Components production was totally reformulated and improved, resulting the final product for footwear - The BioLatéx.

With proper technology and development and using 100% national raw material, the Foamtech   products have gained status and undoubtful   guarantee of comfort and quality.    

The Foamtech sole and components are biodegraded and they fulfill the domestic and international   requirements referring to:  "Conscience and Ecological Responsibility: Yesterday, Today and Forever".
